NaPoWriMo 2016 Entry # 6: Leftover’s Plea

In response to today’s NaPoWriMo prompt, I wrote about food. There are many foods to choose from for today’s inspiration, but I ended up choosing leftover food as the muse. My decision to write for the leftovers is a hilarious experience at its best. It’s fun imagining how to become a leftover. The embarrassment from rejection, fear of being rotten, and the desperation to be digested led me to create this short and silly poem.
