NaPoWriMo 2016 Entry #2

For the second day of the National Poetry Writing Month, also known as NaPoWriMo, the given prompt is to write a poem in the form of a family portrait. When I read family portrait, I knew right there and then what should I write. It is not going to be about mine specifically, but about the experience of the many Filipino families. I wrote two versions, with the same speakers but with different stories. They can be interpreted as before and after. They can also be thought of as very independent from each other.
